ASKED QUESTIONS:
FOR THE
RESORT DIVER
Q. How long does the resort course last?
A. The lesson (theory and pool practice) takes about 2 hours
to complete, followed by a dive in the ocean, which will last
approximately 40 to 45 minutes.
Q. What will I see on the dive?
A. Beautiful corals, sea fans, sponges, many varieties of
small colorful fish and other marine life.
Q. How deep will I dive?
A. your dive will be at a maximum depth of 12 meters/40 feet.
Q. Who will be teaching me in the pool?
A. Your Resort Course will be taught by a certified PADI scuba
Instructor.
Q. Who will take me diving?
A. You will dive with a certified PADI Scuba Instructor.
Q. Do I have to be a strong swimmer?
A. No, but you do have to be comfortable in the water.
Q. Can I take shells or pieces of coral
from the ocean?
A. No. In order to protect the underwater environment, our
policy is to take only pictures and leave only bubbles.
Q. What is the minimum age to dive?
A. Minimum age is 10 years old.

CERTIFIED DIVERS
Q. Do I need my certification card?
A. Yes.
Q. What if I don't have my certification
card?
A. If you are certified with PADI, we need your name, date
of birth, country you were certified in and country of residence
to verify your certification. Allow 24 hours for this process.
If you are certified with an agency other than PADI, you will
need to do a Scuba Review in confined water (pool) and sign
a waiver stating when and where you were certified and the
date of your last dive.
Q. Do I need my log book?
A. No, but it is recommended.
Q. What can I expect to see on
the dive?
A. Corals, sponges, several varieties of marine life.
Q. Will I see sharks?
A. No, unfortunately.
Q. What if I have not been diving
for more than one year?
A. Depending on your level of certification, you may need
to do a review in the pool before diving.
Q. What type of dive sites?
A. Walls, reefs, wreck.
Q. How deep are the dive sites?
A. Between 8 meters / 25 feet and 40 meters / 130 feet.
