You already know that at Igunana Mama we are specialists in mountain biking and hiking adventures. All our 1-day tours are close to Cabarete the furthest at one-hour drive. So you will have the chance of combining activities at the beach with another view of the North Coast.

Windsurfing and Kiteboarding

As mentioned earlier, Cabarete is a popular destination for windsurfing and kiteboarding. There are 6 windsurfing rental stations all within walking distance of Iguana Mama and several kiteboarding schools on Kite Beach a mile away. They also provide instruction. Horseback riding is also a popular activity whether it's on the beach or in the mountains.

And many other activities

Whale watching, surfing, boogey boarding, snorkeling, scuba diving, golf, fishing, Hobie Cat and Laser sailing, giant catamaran sailing, tennis, white water rafting, canyoning and cascading are some of the other activities that can be enjoyed. And of course when you want to do nothing there's the old standby of just lying on the beach with a good book.
