Cabarete is "one of the best windsurfing beaches in the world" and has hosted the PWA World cup event and is suitable for all levels, the morning winds are ideal conditions for the beginner windsurfer, whereas the reef and increasing winds during the day provide challenging conditions for the more advanced sailors.
